Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - New Multiplayer Maps and Warzone Integration
Activision reveals new multiplayer content and deeper Warzone integration for MW3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received its biggest update yet, introducing six new multiplayer maps and deeper integration with Warzone. The maps include:
- Rust 2.0: A modernized version of the classic map
- Coastal: A beachfront combat zone with destructible environments
- Underground: A labyrinthine subway system
- Alpine: A mountain fortress with vertical combat
- District: An urban environment with tight quarters
- Arsenal: A military base with vehicle combat
The update also brings new weapons to the game, including the XRK Stalker sniper rifle and the PPSh-41 submachine gun from World War II. Players can also expect new operator skins and a revamped progression system.
Warzone integration allows players to earn rewards that carry over between both games, creating a unified experience across the Call of Duty ecosystem. Activision has also teased a new Warzone map set to release later this year.
