Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” the next expansion for the iconic MMORPG. Set to release in Q4 2026, this expansion takes players deep beneath Azeroth’s surface to discover the mysterious underground realm of Khaz Modan.
Key features include:
- Three New Zones: The Ringing Deeps, Azj-Kahet, and the Nerubian Empire
- New Player Class: The Earthen, a race of stone dwarves with unique earth-based abilities
- Updated Talent System: A complete overhaul of character progression
- New Raid: The Vault of the Incarnates, featuring eight challenging bosses
- Player Housing: Customizable strongholds for players to decorate and show off
Blizzard has also promised significant quality-of-life improvements, including faster loading times, improved UI, and better group finder tools. The expansion will be available for pre-purchase with exclusive bonuses for early adopters.
