FromSoftware has done it again with “Shadow of the Erdtree,” the first major expansion for Elden Ring. This DLC takes players to the Land of Shadow, a mysterious realm connected to the Erdtree itself.
The expansion introduces:
- A Massive New Area: The Land of Shadow is roughly half the size of the original map
- New Bosses: Including the fearsome Messmer the Impaler and the enigmatic Shadow Queen
- New Weapons and Armor: Over 100 new items to collect and upgrade
- New Mechanics: Shadow-based abilities and a revamped stealth system
- Expanded Story: Answers to some of the game’s biggest mysteries
